第19回「る会～生きション～」
美術と音楽の交差するところで生まれるものを扱っているレーベル、Potziland Recordsよりリリースされた、アーティストユニット、るさんちまんによるLPレコード。前回の「る会～生きション～」の発表から15年ぶりの作品になり、これまでの映像やインスタレーション、ライブパフォーマンスなどで使用したサウンドを再構成したトラックを収録。

彼らが出会った四国お遍路巡礼者による語り、観光地や街頭スピーカーから流れる自動案内やプラネタリウム解説をコラージュした音声、フランス人による流暢な日本語での人生観についての講義、童謡の歌詞をもとに機械翻訳によって生み出されたテキストの朗読などといった様々な声に、民族音楽を模した楽曲、三味線やクラリネットによる演奏、打ち込みのシンセサイザーによる音楽、法螺貝の響き、フィールドレコーディング素材などが組み合わされ、極めてユニークで圧倒的な音の世界が展開される。

付属のリーフレットには、高橋瑞木氏（CHAT【チャット／Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile】エグゼクティブディレクター兼チーフキュレーター）によるテキストを日英で収録。その裏面には、曼荼羅を思わす絵図によって、彼らが四国お遍路で見聞した風景を表した線描画を掲載した。

また、期間限定の特典として、初期ビデオ作品「ikisyon 1」と「ikisyon 4」を視聴できるウェブサイトへのリンクが示されたお札型の紙片を同梱しているので、レコードとともに、ぜひ鑑賞していただきたい。

るさんちまん
2000年に活動を開始したアーティストユニット。同年に彼らが訪れた四国お遍路にて出会った巡礼者から聞いた意味が判然としない言葉「生きション」をキーワードに、映像や音響を中心としたインスタレーションやパフォーマンスを展開する他、個展DM等のグラフィクデザインも全て自身で手がける。これまでにアルスエレクトロニカ（2004年、リンツ）、横浜トリエンナーレ（2005年）、ナムジュンパイクアワード（2006年、ケルン）などに参加した他、山口情報芸術センター（2003年）、森美術館（2004年）、NTTインターコニュニーケーションセンター（2004年）、FACT財団（2005年、リバプール）、太田市美術館（2005年、デジョン）などでのグループ展や上映会において作品を発表している。

"ikisyon 19" is an LP record/vinyl of artist-unit ressentiment, released by Potziland Records which produces projects at the crossword of art and music. For the first time in 15 years, the artist re-edited soundtracks from their videos, installations, and live performances created between 1999-2006.

The artist composed this music incorporating sounds such as the playing of shamisen and clarinet, programmed synthesizer, granulated conch-horn blowing, field recordings, a track inspired by world music, voices like talking by a pilgrim in Shikoku Ohenro, collaged narrations of a planetarium or visitor information in tourist spot by loudspeaker, a lecture in fluent Japanese by a Frenchman about a view of life, readings texts fabricated via machine translation originally from nursery songs, among others.

It includes printed (or digital) liner notes, a text by Mizuki Takahashi, a Mandara-like illustration of scenery from their pilgrims, and a limited-time QR code link to our early video work "ikisyon 1" and "ikisyon 4".
